Amnesty International Workshop Series: Climate Justice: The Biggest Human Rights Challenge of our Time?
We’re thrilled to invite you to a new Amnesty International “Climate Justice” workshop series, with one online workshop taking place approximately every two months from November 2021 to May 2022! During the series, we’ll hear from those directly impacted, including activists on the front lines, and explore topics related to climate justice and human rights. This series of free workshops is being organized by members of Amnesty’s Climate Justice and Corporate Accountability Specialized Team. All Amnesty members and supporters are welcome to attend.  Join us throughout the series as we look at why Amnesty International is involved in these issues. We’ll examine the interconnectedness of climate justice, environmental racism, and gender-based violence, discuss the impact on food and water security and the right to a clean environment, explore lessons from the pandemic in the struggle for climate justice, and more.
Our first workshop “Climate Justice & Human Rights” is this Sunday, November 14, from 4:30 pm – 6:00pm EST (1:30 pm Pacific). Register on Zoom
