 aw amidst COVID19")
DESCRIPTION:In 2020 the ELA's conferences took place online\, via Zoom\, be
 tween 3 and 9 September. The Annual ELA Conference (3 to 5 Sept) included 
 papers addressing important developments in various aspects of environment
 al law by a range of experts around the theme of reconfiguring environment
 al law amidst COVID-19. At the ELA Student Conference (7 to 9 Sept)\, whic
 h was co-hosted by the Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria\, stud
 ent presenters had the opportunity to connect with other students and lead
 ing environmental law scholars\, and to broaden their knowledge and networ
 ks. This year we had some exciting awards for the best student presenters\
 , and the winners of our annual essay competition were announced. The pres
